Odds are good that if you’re reading this you already know this about me, but I care about privacy. As a general guideline, I don’t trust companies or other large entities to keep my secrets or have my personal best interests in mind. I’m not the only one who feels this way (or as Levar Burton would say, “You don’t have to take my word for it”)

Look, email still has it’s uses, and you should consider switching away from free email to something like Protonmail , but you should strongly consider moving away from email for personal communication. Use Signal instead. Encourage others to use it. I will.
