I’ve had the rpgames.org domain for a long time, and I’ve had tons of plans for it from time to time. It’s hosted forums and other web software, but never for very long and never with much success. Recently though I’ve been really itching to get some projects running. So I fired up a VPS and I’m going to start on a project or two.
Shadowrun
I am going to be starting a project for a Shadowrun 5 character generator using node.js. Character storage will be accomplished via some noSQL solution (mongo, couch, etc). The interface will be dynamic HTML5 with some drag and drop for things like priority assignment. I expect that with little effort I will be able to product PDF sheets.
